This card is a thank you card (so if you are reading Natalie - this is on its way to you!) for my friend who lives in Germany. She sent me a wonderful surprise package for Easter with many wonderful things inside. :-)
This card was made with SU! products and the sentiment Vielen Dank is stamped on the inside of the card. Since there is nothing else inside but a personal note, I have not posted the inside view.
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla (inside and squares for flowers).
Ink: Soft Suede (ivy and inside greeting), Primrose Petal and Old Olive (flower and stem/leaves).
Accents: 4 small half pearls that are cream color (or off-white).
Stamp sets: Ivy background stamp, Oh Hello (rose only, from 2013 Spring Catalog).
The card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 with the seam on the left (crumb cake cardstock).
The Soft Suede card stock is the next layer and the inner rectangle. It has been stamped with the Ivy Background stamp (retired). The exact measurements I forgot to write down but it is just a hair smaller than the cardstock.
Next, I cut out Early Espresso card stock in the large rectangle and in three 1 1/2 inch squares.
The Very Vanilla cardstock was cut into 1 1/4 inch squares.
Next, I colored on the stamp Primrose Petal on the blossom and Old Olive on the stem and leaves and stamped on the very vanilla. Repeat this two more times to get a total of 3.
To assemble the card adhere the large stamped crumb cake to card, then adhere the crumb cake rectangle to the Early Espresso rectangle. Afterwards adhere the rectangles to the card base (on top of the stamped Crumb Cake layer).
From here, I used glue dots to adhere the flowers to the Early Espresso squares and glue dots again to adhere the early espresso squares to the rectangles. Lastly, I added the 4 off-white or cream colored pearl decorations. The plan was to add a ribbon as swell (before adding the rectangles to card stock but I did not possess a complementary colored ribbon.
The last thing I did was take a 4 1/8 by 5 1/4 piece of Very Vanilla and adhere it to the inside of the card and stamp the greeting.
