Hello. For my post today, I created a treat bag.
The treat bag began with a piece of cardstock cut 6 high by 11 inches long. The finished product is 11 inches tall with 2" sides. The front and back are 3.5" wide. The treat bag is perfect to fill a few truffles or hard candies. When tied with a ribbon, it makes a perfect little thank you or party favor.
To get the different colors on stems and leaves, I used three different shades of green markers and hand colored. I also used markers to color the flowers after using the die cut on ivory cardstock.
and for a side view:
Supplies:
Mod Flower Border [1010]
Fresh Cut Grass [1016]
Brighton Flower Border [1022]
Woodland Fawn [945]
Markers (including a chalk marker for the fawn's spots)
Adhesives (for assembling the bag, I recommend a double sided tape)
Scissors
Scoring tool
Ribbon, twine or rope (to cinch and tie the bag)
Hope you like the treat bag and it inspires you to make your own.
Have a great week!
