Wishing You Much Luck

Welcome to the last day of May!
My post for today can be a birthday card, hello greeting or, as in the case of my card, a card wishing luck.

For this card, I chose to dry emboss the Bailiwick Background by Poppystamps.  I cut a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper in half and then folded along the 5 1/2" side (instead of the fold on the shorter 4 1/4" side).  I then cut another sheet of paper in the same color family just a bit shorter in order to create a layer.  Then I cut the last sheet of paper, lighter, but in the same color family.
I adhered the first two layers together and ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing pad.  Then I glued it onto the card background.  This allows the embossing to cross both colors.  Since I typically have to use another piece of cardstock on my Big Shot, it wasn't an issue; however, if you do not have to use a shim or cardstock, then you may want to emboss each layer separately.
Next, I ran the Bailiwick Background through in a green color and cut off all the leaves and glued to the card.  Then I ran (several times) the Rosebud die in two colors of cardstock.  Once completed, I carefully trimmed the flowers from the stems before inserting the cutaway pieces back into the flowers before adhering to card.
I embellished with tiny half-pearls and then used the ribbons to cut a layered greeting.  I used the smallest ribbon and cut a little off in order to get the fourth layer.  Then I added a German greeting sticker.  Finally I put a little pearl inside each ribbon and adhered with foamed back adhesives for a little dimension.
I hope you enjoy the card and thanks for stopping by!
