Newton's Nook Cards

Welcome to my Newton's Nook card page.

I really like Newton's Nook stamps.  It is a great small company with cute cat (and other animal) images. I am not a member of their design team, just someone who enjoys creating cards with their products.

Here I have used 3 different stamp sets to create three birthday cards for my friends in Germany.  Alles Liebe Zum Geburtstag!

The card below was made with Newton's Day Dream mini stamp set.
I also used a Poppystamps die [1016] Fresh Cut Grass for the grassy border and Poppystamps Holiday 2014 release [1099] Puffy Clouds Border and a Robin's Egg blue ink to sponge around to create the sky.

The next card was created using stamps from two Newton's Nook sets:  Newton's Birthday Bash and Winston's Birthday.  The twine used is Orchid Stripe Mini Bundle from The Twinery.

I used Versamark clear embossing pad and clear embossing powder to create the images on the green background.  Newton was embossed in black embossing powder.  Then I colored the Newton's Nook image before cutting it out and mounting it with foam adhesive squares.

The final card once again leveraged the Puffy Cloud Border from Poppystamps to create the blue cloudy sky and a stamp from Newton's Birthday Bash.  The embellishments are little balloons that I purchased from Impress Rubber Stamps.  And the twine, Gunmetal Shimmer Mini Bundle is from The Twinery.

I hope you have enjoyed my birthday cards.

Schönes Geburtstag Frau Poetsch, Natalie und Maja!

  3. Thanks Jennifer & Jess. I love all the Newton's Nook stamps sets. It is so easy to make your own backgrounds. I used versa mark clear and clear embossing powder. Combined several smaller birthday items from sets. Very versatile.
